ACIL 90

Description

It is a titanate coupling agent designed to create molecular bridges between inorganic substrates and organic polymer matrices. It offers high thermal and solvolytic stability, making it suitable for high-temperature processing applications. Its ability to emulsify directly in water without the need for additional surfactants is a unique advantage.

Application

PLASTICS

  • Technical Plastics: Enhances mechanical strength and durability.
Facilitates the use of mineral fillers, such as CaCO₃, at high concentrations, optimizing processing.
  • Automotive: Improves impact properties and adhesion in engineering polymers used in automotive components.
Ideal for high-temperature thermoplastics, reducing production cycles.

ADHESIVES

  • Medical-Hospital: Ensures efficient adhesion in adhesives used for sensitive medical devices.
  • Construction: Enhances the durability of structural adhesives used in challenging environments.
  • Industrial Adhesives: Provides greater fluidity and viscosity control in advanced formulations.

PAINTS AND COATINGS

  • Industrial Coatings:
Acts as a catalyst to reduce curing time in alkyd and urea-formaldehyde systems.
Provides increased adhesion and chemical stability in industrial coatings.

PRINTING INKS

  • Flexography and Offset:
Improves pigment dispersion, including carbon black, reducing viscosity and optimizing performance.

Benefits

  • Thermal and Chemical Stability: Ideal for high-temperature applications and aggressive formulations.
Viscosity Reduction: Facilitates processing, especially in highly filled systems.
Superior Adhesion: Promotes strong bonds between incompatible substrates, enhancing final product efficiency.
Sustainability: Enables regrind regeneration and polymer copolymerization, reducing waste.
Versatility: Compatible with a wide range of substrates, including mineral fillers, polymers, and pigments.
